That habit of noticing is where my writing and my analysis meet.

My analytical side demands evidence and structure; my writer's instinct demands that the evidence actually lands with a real person reading it at their kitchen table. Keeping both in tension is, honestly, my favourite part of the work.

Hands-on practice keeps me honest. I test frameworks by applying them to real situations, revisit assumptions when the data surprises me, and rewrite until the explanation works for someone encountering the topic for the first time and for someone who already knows the field.
